Project update “Eulenhof” residential project in Krostitz

The construction sign for the “Eulenhof” has been hanging at Dorfplatz in Krostitz for a while now: Wohnmacher Bau- und Investitionsgesellschaft, an affiliated company of the ARCADIA Investment Group, is building a new housing project for young families here. Ten terraced houses will be built on the site of a former farmstead. In addition, the construction of four semi-detached houses is planned. The first excavators rolled onto the 4,740 square metre plot in November 2020. Currently, the development work for the construction of the residential project is taking place. The floor plates for all house types are to be poured by the end of April, so that the delivery and construction of the first solid prefabricated houses can then take place. The overall completion of the project is scheduled for September this year.

The Wohnmacher house concept is focused on particularly high sustainability and a fast construction method. Among other things, the terraced and semi-detached houses are characterised by their very good energy efficiency according to the KfW-55 standard. This enables the use of a loan at particularly favourable conditions as well as a repayment bonus of up to 18,000 euros. An air-source heat pump and a photovoltaic system ensure an energy-efficient supply for each house. The developed house types and the modular construction method contribute to cost savings and favourable purchase prices. Each of the turnkey houses on offer has up to five rooms on approximately 120 square metres of floor space. A fitted kitchen, a garden with a terrace and, optionally, two parking spaces per house round off the offer.

With two day-care centres, a primary school, a secondary school as well as several shopping facilities and a wide range of leisure activities, Krostitz offers a good small-town infrastructure. At the same time, the municipality with around 4,000 inhabitants is only a few minutes away from the major companies located in the north of Leipzig, such as BMW, Porsche, DHL and Beiersdorf. The choice of location is an important criterion for the concept of the houses. That is why the Wohnmacher Group concentrates in particular on outskirts of metropolitan regions with good infrastructural connections.
