ARCADIA acquires office building in Leipzig for new company headquarters

The property developer ARCADIA Investment Group plans to relocate its headquarters to Löhrstraße 17 in Leipzig’s inner-city ring road. The reason for moving is the dynamic growth of the group of companies and its further expansion plans.

ARCADIA recently acquired the combined business and residential property from the Leipzig-based VICUS Group AG. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The property is located in the direct vicinity of the main branch of Sparkasse Leipzig, the hotel “The Westin Leipzig” and the future headquarters of Sächsische Aufbaubank (SAB), which is currently under construction. After conversion, the building will have around 4,300 square metres of lettable space, an underground car park and outside parking spaces for a total of 46 cars. The transaction was brokered by the commercial team of the Leipzig brokerage firm VON POLL IMMOBILIEN, under the responsibility of Toni Göpel.

ARCADIA will completely refurbish the property and convert the upper floors into modern, offices before moving in in the first quarter of 2022. “We want to create an innovative working environment with a high feelgood factor for our employees and customers,” says Alexander Folz, founder of the ARCADIA Investment Group. After completion, the planning and construction, marketing and administration departments will move into the upper floors. The financing, parking and residential sections will be located in the shops on the ground floor.
