The project partners ARCADIA Investment GmbH and Achim Griese Treuhandgesellschaft mbH develop the Marien-Carrée in Neubrandenburg with several building sections and a total rental area of around 21,000 square metres. After a construction period of two years, the first two construction phases were completed and the entire complex was officially opened in July 2019.

In addition to the fashion chain New Yorker, OLYMP&HADES, TK Maxx and dm, the Neubrandenburg municipal utilities and the wellness and cosmetics chain Rituals are now represented in the Marien-Carrée. The newly opened business premise has a total rental area of approximately 6,300 square metres for retail, catering and office use.

Many of these tenants have not been represented in Neubrandenburg and took advantage of the opportunity to secure modern retail space directly at the Neubrandenburg market square. To complete the new retail range, the Marien-Carrée also offers a nail bar, two restaurants and a bakery.

The business premise at Treptower Straße connects the established retail locations, namely the pedestrian zone Turmstraße with Galeria Kaufhof, H&M on the opposite side, Treptower Straße with C&A and the ECE Marktplatz-Center shopping centre. The Marien-Carrée is almost completely detached and striking due to its building front and modern architecture.

In the southern area of the approximately 7,000 square meter property, a multi-storey car park directly connected to the Marien-Carreé has been fully planned and approved. The multi-storey car park will provide 315 parking spaces on the upper floors and retail spaces on the ground floor. The completion of the third construction phase and the multi-storey car park is scheduled for 2021.
