ARCADIA obtains building lease for residential project in Sonnengrund in Taucha – 14 of 16 plots have already been sold
The Leipzig ARCADIA Investment Group has obtained the building lease for the residential project in Sonnengrund at the Richard-Bogue-Straße in Taucha, also known as the garden city. ARCADIA has already been able to sell 14 of the 16 plots which are ready for building. The already sold plots total more than 12,000 square meters. According to the company, all the rest of the plots have been reserved and are to be notarized till August. All the plots, which range between 430 and 900 square meters, are owned by owner-occupiers who are expected to start building their single family homes from September 2017. Süß, the specialists for structural and civil engineering and also based in Taucha, are currently securing the infrastructure. This will be completed in August.
The residential project in Sonnengrund is currently the fourth development project of the Leipzig project development company, ARCADIA Investment Group, in Taucha. ARCADIA is presently also committed to the Lindenquartier project in Taucha, which comprises 46 single family homes. In contrast to the Lindenquartier project, ARCADIA is only responsible for the planning and management of the plots towards readiness for building at the residential project in Sonnengrund. The role of building contractor is taken over by the respective individual property owners.
