Construction Site Update: Residential development “Im Sonnenwinkel” in Naunhof

Wohnmacher Bau- und Investitionsgesellschaft, a subsidiary of ARCADIA Investment Group, is planning the development of the “Im Sonnenwinkel” residential quarter on Erdmannshainer Straße in Naunhof on a total area of approximately 45,800 square meters. Divided into two construction phases, the development of up to 74 plots for single-family houses, terraced houses and semi-detached houses is planned. For the first construction phase, ARCADIA’s investment company is planning plots for seven single-family houses and 24 semi-detached houses on a total area of approximately 26,500 square meters.

As of May 13, 2022, the media-technical development was completed as well as the road construction in the first construction phase of the “Im Sonnenwinkel” residential development in Naunhof. Along with the completion of the base course, WOHNMACHER Bau- und Investition GmbH also finished the modelling of the landscaped rainwater retention basin. Furthermore, the construction work on Parthenstraße was completed and has been open to pedestrians and cyclists again since the beginning of June.

“The next step will be to connect the new access road to Erdmannshainer Straße and to lay the final paved areas. After that, the development work for the second construction phase will begin,” says Ulrike Nikolai, project manager, explaining the next steps.

The residential quarter “Im Sonnenwinkel” in Naunhof is located in a quiet area 20 kilometers southeast of the city of Leipzig. At the same time, the center of Leipzig can be reached in only 20 minutes by public transport. Naunhof is also optimally connected to the transport network for long-distance travel with the freeway access to the A14 and A38 three kilometers away. The residential ensemble is surrounded by a variety of local recreational opportunities and invites with green forests and blue lakes to stay.

WOHNMACHER

The Wohnmacher house concept focuses on particularly high sustainability and a fast construction method. The terraced and semi-detached houses are characterized, among other things, by their very good energy efficiency according to the efficiency house level 55. An own air-source heat pump and photovoltaic system ensure an energy-efficient supply of each house. The developed house types, in modular building method, contribute to favorable purchase prices and to the long-term cost saving. Each of the turnkey homes on offer has up to five rooms on approximately 117 square meters of living space. The move-in ready houses, including floor laying and painting work, are rounded off by a garden with terrace and optional parking spaces at the house.
