Grandpa Krause and the fairytale auntiPicture: ARCADIA Investment Group

For the Christmas season of this turbulent year, ARCADIA would like to give a smile to children from Leipzig who live without family or have to endure a serious illness. As part of the fundraising campaign “ARCADIA gives children a Christmas smile”, the Leipzig project developer commissioned the artist couple Schreiber. Under the stage name “Opa Krause und die Märchentante” (Grandpa Krause and the Fairytale Aunt), they performed the children’s magic show in a Christmas setting. The children’s institutions were selected by ARCADIA.

“Unfortunately, we were not able to hold this special fundraising event last year because of Corona; it was only this year that the situation eased again and the opportunity arose to turn words into deeds,” says Alexander Folz, Managing Partner of ARCADIA Investment GmbH. The shining children’s eyes and the so important laughter of the children during Advent is the driving force for us to continue this campaign in 2023.
