ARCADIA gives advice on the sale of a speciality retail market in Görlitz
ARCADIA Investment GmbH, as part of a portfolio management mandate, assisted a private owner from Southern Germany to successfully sell a speciality retail market in Görlitz for 2.6 million euro to Deutsche Fachmarkt AG (DEFAMA AG). The annual net rental yield currently lies at approx. 300,000 euro.
The total usable floor space of the property amounts to round 4,000 m² which is fully occupied bar a tiny retail space. The main tenants are Netto and Hammer speciality stores which have both been represented on site for more than 15 years. The property also boasts approx. 150 parking spaces on the premises.
The longstanding and stable rent structure of the property, in addition to it being directly located on the B99 national road which runs through Görlitz, as well as the largest local employer, Bombardier, situated directly opposite – were all further reasons for the property acquisition by DEFAMA AG.
